DIMENSIONS

We designed the Hidee with versatility in mind to conveniently accommodate anywhere from one to three of your trash bins, which can include those designated for trash, recycling, and composting.

You have the option to purchase the Hidee to hold any combination of these various sizes: 16-gallon, 32-gallon, 64-gallon, or 96-gallon bins.

The dimensions illustrated in the charts below are specifically based on the bins that Recology of San Francisco utilizes (please refer to the STANDARD BIN DIMENSIONS table below). Three sets of dimensions are shown in the charts.

If you are not using the bins provided by Recology, please consult the formulas provided BELOW to determine the correct size Hidee that will perfectly fit your specific garbage bins.

INSIDE DIMENSIONS

CLASSIC HIDEE

  1. Bin 1 WIDTH + bin 2 WIDTH + bin 3 WIDTH + 1” should not exceed the INSIDE WIDTH,

  2. DEPTH of largest bin + 1/2” should not exceed the INSIDE DEPTH,

  3. HEIGHT of largest bin + 1/2” should not exceed the INSIDE HEIGHT,

  4. EXAMPLE:

    • Your bins are round where bin 1 WIDTH = 18”, bin 2 WIDTH = 18” and  bin 3 WIDTH = 22”,

      18” + 18” + 22” + 1” = 59”,

      59” should not exceed the INSIDE WIDTH.

    • The depth of your largest bin is 22”,

      22” + 1/2” = 22-1/2”,

      22-1/2” should not exceed the INSIDE DEPTH.

    • The height of your largest bin is 40”,

      40” + 1/2” = 40-1/2”,

      40-1/2” should not exceed the INSIDE HEIGHT.

    • Looking at the DIMENSIONS chart for CLASSIC HIDEE MODEL 1, THE BIN SIZES 16 16 64 is the smallest size to accommodate your three bins.

BRINA HIDEE

  1. Bin 1 DEPTH + bin 2 DEPTH + bin 3 DEPTH + 1” should not exceed the INSIDE WIDTH,

  2. WIDTH of largest bin + 1/2” should not exceed the INSIDE DEPTH,

  3. HEIGHT of largest bin + 1/2” should not exceed the INSIDE HEIGHT.

5-A HIDEE

  1. Bins should not exceed the MAXIMUM BIN SIZE shown in the 5-A HIDEE DIMENSIONS chart.

OVERALL DIMENSIONS

Overall dimensions are thoughtfully provided here for you to determine if your Hidee will comfortably fit in the intended location at your home. The overall dimensions include necessary clearance considerations for open doors and open lid, ensuring that you can easily access your trash bins without any hassle or obstruction.

NOTE: Overall dimensions are rounded UP to the nearest integer.
