Hardware Color
Hinges, latches, and exposed fasteners, including screws and bolts, are made of stainless steel and are available in two colors.
Stainless Steel, known for its classic and neutral appearance,
Matte Black, which offers a sleek modern appearance.
Both options ensure longevity and resistance to corrosion, making them suitable for outdoor use across diverse locations.
Gas Spring Material
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is highly recommended for applications requiring maximum corrosion resistance, particularly in harsh environments like coastal areas.
Its durability translates to a longer lifespan compared to plain steel, making it a reliable choice for demanding conditions.
Plain Steel.
In contrast, plain steel offers a more budget-friendly option, though it may not withstand corrosive elements as effectively as its stainless counterpart.
This makes plain steel suitable for less exposed environments where cost is a significant consideration.

Reason 1
Imagine no longer dragging heavy trash bins from your back yard, through the mechanics alley, up steep, uneven, and narrow stairs — usually in the dark, sometimes in the rain — just to participate in the weekly ritual known as Trash Day.
Then, at the end of the day, you must drag them back where they belong until next week.
Repeat 52 times per year!
Two Reasons to Keep Trash Bins in Front of Your House
Reason 2
Consider the space you will free-up in your garage moving your trash bins outside.
You might free up enough space to store several bicycles or even open your car doors all the way.
And consider what goes in a trash can.
Do you really want your garbage kept in an enclosed garage all week long?
Ten Reasons to Buy a Trash Bin Hidee
Choose one of seven models based on its location on your property, available space, surface incline, and desired security level.
Each Trash Bin Hidee is custom built to precisely fit any combination of three bins — 32-, 64-, and 96-gallon — ensuring a compact footprint while preserving effortless access and everyday ease of use.
You choose the siding material, pick a paint or stain from a wide selection of colors, and select hardware finishes that compliment your home.
Gas springs help lift the lid and hold it securely open — providing easy, worry-free access when you need it.
Free delivery throughout the San Francisco area, which also includes professional on-site installation and setup.
Each Hidee is professionally designed and proudly built in San Francisco since 2020, with craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Comes with a two-year limited warranty for your peace of mind.
The Hidee’s sturdy, all-wood construction offer a much more attractive appearance than enclosures made from plastic or sheet metal.
The Hidee can be placed on a limited slope without compromising stability or structural integrity.
Lockable stainless-steel latches firmly secures both the doors and lid, providing reliable, long-lasting security.
How It’s Made
The upper frame is crafted from durable Douglas Fir. Each connection in the frame is constructed using a combination of polyurethane glue, wood screws, and flat corner brackets to ensure maximum strength, stability and longevity.
On the exterior, we use stainless-steel fasteners, providing not only a reliable hold but also resistance to corrosion, ensuring that the frame remains both structurally sound and visually pleasing over time.
This assembly technique contributes to a robust structure capable of withstanding the rigors of daily use.

TRASH BIN HIDEE
Similar to the Front Entry Hidee, whose doors swing outward and can encroach upon the sidewalk, these doors do not. The Sidewalk Hidee instead features three, by-pass sliding doors that remain tucked within the enclosure’s footprint. A Minor Sidewalk Encroachment permit is required for sidewalk placement.
